Ayursarga is committed to helping customers discover and access Ayurvedic postnatal care and related wellness services through its digital platform.

This Patient / Service Disclaimer & Consent explains the nature and limitations of the Platform and the responsibilities of customers and Partner Centres.

1.AYURSARGA IS A DIGITAL PLATFORM

Unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific service, Ayursarga acts as a technology, discovery, communication and booking platform connecting customers with independent Partner Centres.

Ayursarga does not itself provide every healthcare, Ayurvedic treatment, accommodation, nursing or wellness service listed on the Platform.

The actual service is provided by the relevant Partner Centre and its authorised professionals.

2.INDEPENDENT PROFESSIONAL JUDGMENT

Ayurvedic physicians, doctors, nurses, therapists and other qualified professionals working with Partner Centres are responsible for exercising their own professional judgment.

Information provided through Ayursarga does not replace professional evaluation.

The customer's suitability for a particular service should be determined by the appropriate qualified professional.

3.NO GUARANTEE OF MEDICAL OUTCOME

Ayursarga does not guarantee:

  • recovery;
  • treatment effectiveness;
  • symptom improvement;
  • prevention of complications;
  • a particular health outcome;
  • suitability of a treatment for every individual; or
  • any specific medical or wellness result.

Individual results may vary.

4.MEDICAL EMERGENCIES

Ayursarga and Partner Centres listed on the Platform should not be treated as a substitute for emergency medical services.

If a patient or newborn experiences a medical emergency, the customer should immediately seek appropriate emergency medical care or contact the relevant emergency services.

Customers should not delay emergency treatment while attempting to contact Ayursarga.

5.DISCLOSURE OF RELEVANT INFORMATION

Customers are responsible for providing truthful and complete information reasonably required for safe service delivery.

This may include information relating to:

  • pregnancy;
  • delivery;
  • previous medical history;
  • allergies;
  • medications;
  • current symptoms;
  • previous procedures;
  • complications;
  • newborn health;
  • dietary restrictions; and
  • other relevant conditions.

Failure to disclose relevant information may affect the suitability or safety of a service.

6.INDIVIDUAL SUITABILITY

A service displayed on Ayursarga may not be suitable for every person.

The Partner Centre may determine that:

  • a service should be modified;
  • additional assessment is required;
  • a service should be postponed;
  • a service should not be provided; or
  • referral to another healthcare provider is appropriate.

Such decisions may be made in the interest of patient safety and professional responsibility.

7.AYURVEDIC TREATMENT

Ayurvedic therapies and practices should be undertaken under the supervision of appropriately qualified professionals where professional supervision is required.

Ayursarga does not independently prescribe, diagnose or recommend a particular Ayurvedic treatment merely by displaying information about a service.

8.POSTNATAL AND NEWBORN SERVICES

Postnatal recovery and newborn care can involve changing medical and physical conditions.

Services may need to be modified or discontinued depending on:

  • mother's condition;
  • baby's condition;
  • delivery type;
  • complications;
  • infection;
  • allergies;
  • medications;
  • medical advice; or
  • other relevant circumstances.

Partner Centres may require medical clearance or referral where appropriate.

9.TREATMENT CONSENT

Before receiving a healthcare or wellness service, the customer may be required to provide informed consent directly to the relevant Partner Centre or professional.

Consent may include an explanation of:

  • the proposed service;
  • expected benefits;
  • potential risks;
  • alternatives;
  • limitations;
  • contraindications; and
  • the right to decline or discontinue the service where legally and medically appropriate.

10.SEPARATE CENTRE CONSENT

A customer's acceptance of Ayursarga's Platform Terms does not replace consent required by a Partner Centre or healthcare professional.

The Partner Centre may require additional consent forms before providing treatment or services.

11.MEDICATIONS AND PRODUCTS

Customers should inform the relevant healthcare professional about medicines, supplements, allergies and relevant health conditions.

Ayursarga does not independently prescribe or guarantee the safety or effectiveness of medicines, supplements or products supplied by third parties.

12.THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Services are delivered by Partner Centres and their personnel.

Any dispute concerning the professional delivery of healthcare or wellness services should first be raised with the relevant Partner Centre and may also be reported to Ayursarga for platform-level assistance.

Nothing in this clause removes any legal rights available to a customer.

12A.ONLINE CONSULTATION SERVICES

Where Ayursarga offers online consultations, the service may include appointment scheduling, pre-consultation forms, secure or supported communication, audio/video consultation, chat or messaging, payment processing, follow-up coordination and customer support. The consultation is provided by the relevant qualified healthcare or wellness professional and is subject to professional judgment and applicable law.

12A.1Consultant Access and Professional Responsibility

Relevant information provided by the customer may be made available to the selected consultant to the extent reasonably necessary to conduct the consultation, assess the information provided, give professional advice, prepare recommendations or prescriptions where professionally appropriate, and provide follow-up. The consultant remains responsible for exercising independent professional judgment.

12A.2Consultation Health Information

Customers may be asked to provide symptoms, medical history, pregnancy or postpartum information, allergies, medicines, diagnostic reports, photographs, breastfeeding information, dietary information and other relevant health or wellness information. Customers should provide accurate and complete information reasonably necessary for the consultation and should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information.

12A.3Consultation Records

Consultation-related records may include notes, advice, recommendations, prescriptions, reports, follow-up instructions and other information generated or shared during the consultation. Ayursarga may retain Platform-related records where reasonably necessary for service administration, customer support, legal compliance, dispute resolution, security or other legitimate purposes. A consultant or Partner Centre may separately maintain professional records where required by law or professional obligations.

12A.4Audio / Video Consultation and Recording

Online consultations may be conducted through audio or video communication tools. Ayursarga does not routinely record consultations by default. If recording is proposed, appropriate notice and consent will be obtained where required before recording. Any permitted recording will be handled in accordance with the applicable privacy policy and law.

12A.5Consultation Communications

Appointment confirmations, reminders, consultation links, follow-up communications and service support may be sent through the Platform, telephone, WhatsApp, SMS, email or other communication channels used for the consultation. Customers should use appropriate care when sharing sensitive information through general communication channels.

12A.6No Emergency or Continuous Monitoring Service

Online consultation is not an emergency response service and does not provide continuous medical monitoring. Ayursarga and the consultant may not be able to assess a patient fully through remote communication. If symptoms are severe, rapidly worsening or require immediate physical assessment, the customer should seek appropriate emergency or in-person medical care without delay.

12A.7Technical and Connectivity Limitations

Online consultations may be affected by internet connectivity, device limitations, software failures, third-party communication services or other technical issues. If a consultation cannot reasonably be completed because of a material technical issue, Ayursarga or the consultant may offer rescheduling or another applicable resolution subject to the booking terms.

12A.8Consultant Availability and Scope

Consultant availability, consultation duration, follow-up arrangements and services included in a booking may vary by consultant and service. Information displayed on the Platform is intended to describe the available service and does not guarantee a particular medical outcome, diagnosis, treatment response or continued availability of a particular consultant.

12A.9Consent and Customer Choice

Where a consultation involves a specific examination, treatment recommendation, procedure or other service requiring informed consent, the consultant or relevant Partner Centre may obtain separate consent. Acceptance of this Disclaimer does not replace any professional or treatment-specific consent that may be required.

12A.10Online Consultation Payments, Cancellation and Refunds

Payments, cancellations, rescheduling, no-shows and refunds for online consultations are governed by the applicable booking terms and Ayursarga Cancellation & Refund Policy. A consultation already provided or substantially completed may be non-refundable as specified in the applicable terms.

12A.11Follow-up and Continuity

Where applicable, consultation information may be used to facilitate follow-up appointments, reminders, requested services and continued communication with the relevant consultant or service provider, subject to applicable law and the applicable booking terms.

13.SERVICE INFORMATION

Service descriptions on Ayursarga are intended to help customers understand available offerings.

Customers should confirm important details with the Partner Centre, particularly:

14.PHOTOGRAPHS AND REPRESENTATIONS

Photographs and promotional material are intended for general representation and may not exactly reflect current conditions.

Facilities, rooms, staff and services may change over time.

Customers should contact the Partner Centre for material requirements or specific accommodation needs.

15.NO SELF-DIAGNOSIS

Information available through Ayursarga should not be used for self-diagnosis or self-treatment where professional medical assessment is required.

16.LIMITATION OF PLATFORM ROLE

Ayursarga's role may include:

  • displaying information;
  • facilitating enquiries;
  • facilitating bookings;
  • coordinating communication;
  • processing payments where applicable;
  • assisting with cancellations/refunds; and
  • providing customer support.

The actual healthcare or wellness service remains the responsibility of the relevant Partner Centre and qualified professionals providing that service.
